My first color blocking

I was really inspired to do this outfit today. Since this is my first color blocking outfit I needed to do a bit of a research on how to create a perfect look. 

I started with color wheel.

 

And googled some images.

 

With this outfit I paired 2 colors (yellow & blue) and counterbalanced it with gold flats and a clutch bag. I was actually debating whether to add a third color but since this is my first I do not want to take the risk- yet. So what do you think of this outfit, did I pass with flying colors? :)

Closet raid/ Guilty pleasure

Do you always say, "I have nothing to wear"? -This is a typical conversation of me and my boyfriend, and he exasperate every time I tell him that.

Do you always feel the urge of buying things that you know in your heart you don't really need them? -Guilty as charge!

And that moment when you buy something only to find out that you already have it?- Happens to me all the time! Either same type of jeans or same color of blouse.

I arranged my clothes according to their color. My outerwear (coats, bomber jackets, etc. ) are folded because I do not have the space to hang them. Sneakers are placed on top as well, you can see a photo attached to the box to basically know what's inside.

Why do we love to shop? Basically, it gives me great pleasure having new things. It is also my way of impressing my boyfriend and other people. Sometimes when I am sad or heart broken, I either go to a salon and get my hair done or just plainly SHOP.

Shopping for me is a stress reliever and helps me calm down after a rough day at work. Finding a good deal on jeans or shoes is like scoring a touchdown.

My holy grail. :)

Bottom line is... Girls will be Girls and it is a natural thing for us to shop. It's fun and it makes me feel good inside and out.

Early October wishlist

Lately, I have been crushing on these items:

1.Floral Blazer (Top Shop, $105)- I have been searching for a floral blazer and this one from Top Shop is very expensive. I am still looking for something similar and could not find one. You can pair this with skinny jeans or boyfriend jeans.

2. Colorblock cut-out wedge (Go Jane, $32.60)-Wedge shoes are my thing, I am only 5 feet tall so these types of footwear helps me a lot with you know what I mean...LOL! I would pair it with skinny jeans, flowy dress or high low skirts. 

3. Lace overlay peplum top (Go Jane, $16.50)- Another one that I really, really like to have! 

4. Spiked wedge sneakers (Go Jane, $27.50)- I also have a collection of nike sneakers and this will be a great addition to that and because of the wedge heel I consider this a Sporty chic shoes.

It's official!

Fall has arrived. Behold the changing leaves, and enjoy the crisp breeze. Let your eyes take in the bursts of color. Transformation is afoot and hope is in the air.

I bought these pointed flats at Ardene yesterday as they're on sale for $20 when you buy 2 pairs. I have a major shoe fetish. Owning and wearing fabulous pair is a source of great pleasure. I think my Mom has a big influence on me when it comes to shoes. I remember when I was a little girl, she has this huge collection and I used to play with them all the time. I would always pretend I was a model walking on a runway. I actually miss being a kid!

I am done with all the books and it was a good read. It took me probably 2 weeks to finish all of them. Many women are crazy about it and I'm not going to lie, I am one of them..Who isn't??
I just can't wait for the movie to come out and I am really rooting for Ryan Gosling to play the role of Christian Grey, as for Anastasia Steele, my top pick is Alexis Bledel.
For those of you who have not read the book yet, grab them now! Trust me, it's worth the read.

A day at the park

We found the perfect place to do a photo shoot. The park is beautiful and it has a man made lake. It also has a little gazebo so that if I do not want to be under the sun, I can easily go in and have my picture taken. Did I mention I hate the sun?
